Our story began in 2018 when Florian, by coincidence, discovered the scientific work of Bayesian Truth Serum created by MIT Professor Drazen Prelec. Since then, this concept has never left his mind. After many discussions with the team, potential customers, as well as Prof. Prelec, it was then decided to develop a useful product for the market research industry. Here, the most significant benefit can be created with this concept. This ultimately led to the foundation of the Redem GmbH in 2020.
Our vision for Redem is to become a safety net and quality standard for professional surveys. The goal is to support market researchers with technology so that in the future, there will be no difference between survey results and “subjective reality” among the respondents. Therefore, each respondent should receive the weighting he or she deserves.
